Hilltoppers XC is a club, run by volunteers of the Ohio Nordic Ski Club, where children learn to ski in a supportive team environment of youth skiers, trained coaches, group leaders and parents. We are very excited to be the first US club to offer the Jackrabbit skill development program and coaching methods.

Developed by Cross Country Canada, the Jackrabbit Ski League is the most successful club-run youth cross country ski program in North America with over 300 clubs. We will not only be providing this high quality and proven skill development program to Northeast Ohio children, but our volunteer coaches will also receive on-going training and certification in community coaching through the experienced youth coaches of Cross Country Ontario.

We are also very fortunate to have two Nordic ski centers to call home and we are fully supported and welcomed by both the Lake Metroparks Pine Lodge Ski Center and the Ski Lodge at Lake County YMCA Outdoor Family Center. Having these two groomed ski trail systems in close proximity with ski rentals and comfortable, warm lodge facilities will be essential as we grow the program and strive to provide outstanding first experiences on skis for all our children.
