About Hilltoppers XC: Hilltoppers XC is a youth cross country ski team with skill development programs
for skiers from ages 4 to 18. All of our groups listed below participate in skill sessions, races, team activities,
dryland training and a family winter camp with activities suitable for all skill levels and goals.
Bunnyrabbits (Ages
4-6) - Our youngest skiers learn the basics of cross country skiing in a supportive atmosphere of fun, family, coaches
and friends. Balance, coordination and a love of winter and snow are emphasized, while learning key skills through
games and exploration.
Jackrabbits
(Ages 7 - 10) - A progressive program
emphasizing solid classical technique leading to more advanced skating techniques. Skills are learned through a combination
of games, group activities and skill lessons.
Track
Attack (Junior Development - Ages 10+)
- A program for children who are either preparing to race or are interested in learning to improve as skiers
with an emphasis on skating technique. Track Attack targets include both skill and participation goals including races,
rollerskiing, dryland camps, a winter ski camp and orienteering.
Hilltoppers XC Junior Racing Team (All ages w/3+
years) - For advanced skiers who would like to primarily focus on racing and advanced technique.
Skiers will participate in both local and regional events and take on leadership roles on the team.
